Description
Tender for the renovation of Porton Play Park. Idmiston Parish Council (IPC) wish to invite tenders for the renovation/replacement of the play equipment at Porton Recreation Ground. General Overview: Idmiston Parish Council seek contractor proposals for the complete renovation/replacement of the in-situ fenced 'toddler' play area and the replacement/addition of other play items within the boundary of the recreation ground. The desired solution will see the extension of the footprint of the existing toddler play area out in a South Westerly direction. The final gross size of the extension SW will depend on the contractor's balance of cost for the ground works vs the purchase of equipment to fill the newly extended area. IPCs desire is for a play area that is suitable for age range toddler through to ~early teens. Additional Information: Idmiston Parish Council, by advance notice, will gratefully meet any contractor on site wishing to visit and discuss the proposal further as part of the tender process. Porton Recreation Ground is located in the middle of Porton village. The site has vehicular access via a tarmac road, off of Winterslow Road, suitable for tractors, lorries and plant. The park can be considered as secure as all 4 borders are either adjacent to the River Bourne or private residential properties. The two access gates are currently locked at sunset, and opened at ~0700, although this could be completed by the contractor, or the times adjusted by mutual agreement. The site has no running water or sewerage/welfare facilities. Post Code SP4 0LR. What 3 Words tolerable.atomic.rush Budget: Not to exceed £116000 IPC Assumptions: The removal of all generated surplus spoil/earth and all waste materials and contractor generated rubbish will be the responsibility of the contractor. Any required planning permissions shall be the responsibility of the contractor to obtain and comply with. Any required environmental permissions, regulations or restrictions shall be the responsibility of the contractor to obtain and comply with. All works completed and equipment installed shall comply with any required UK legislation, compliance or standards applicable.
