Description
Gloucestershire County Council (GCC) is procuring a Framework Agreement for the supply of school meals in 170 primary, secondary and special schools in Gloucestershire; and the supply of catering services at Shire Hall. The Framework Agreement consists of two Lots; Lot 1 the supply of school meals in 170 primary, secondary and special schools in Gloucestershire. Lot 2 the supply of catering services at Shire Hall only.
The Framework Agreement for the supply of school meals will be effective from 28th July 2022 to 31st July 2026. The estimated total framework value is £45 Million over its term. The Lot 1 Call-Off Contracts shall continue for a minimum period of 2 years and include options to extend their terms for a further period of not more than 4 years.
The Framework Agreement for the supply of catering services at Shire Hall will be effective from 1st August 2022 to 31st July 2026. The pre-Covid value of the Shire Hall catering is £1 million over 4 years. However, this figure will probably reduce, as the medium and long term staffing levels at Shire Hall may only be 25-40% of the pre-Covid levels. The Lot 2 Call-Off Contract shall continue for a period of 4 years. Lots 1 and Lot 2 will be awarded separately. Bidders for Lot 1 will also be required to bid for Lot 2. The Authority reserves the right not to award any lot.

Due to restrictions, only one representative from each company will be allowed to attend site visit. Confirmation of the representatives Name, Position and Company needs to be emailed to [email protected] by Friday 10th September 2021 A Lateral flow test will need to be taken on Monday 13th September 2021 by each representative and the clear result confirmed by email to [email protected] Mask wearing is part of GCC corporate policy, and is in enforcement when on premises.
TUPE Please note that TUPE will apply for Lot 1 School Meals. In order to obtain the TUPE details you will need to complete, sign and return the Confidentiality Certificate (Appendix A). The Confidentiality Certificate (Appendix A) should be returned via Supplying the South West. https://www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk/ Please ensure you use the messaging functionality to return the duly signed Confidentiality Agreement. Please note that if you do not obtain the TUPE information your bid may be regarded as non-compliant.
