We currently have a small fleet of ride-on tugs, plus various powered and manual pallet handling equipment. We wish to replace the powered fleet with a mixture of pedestrian `tow movers' and ride-on tugs. Typical loads include Trailers, 770 litre wheeled bins, cages, linen trolleys, theatre trolleys and meal trolleys. Vehicles would need to be suitable for indoor and outdoor use and be able to suitable to use loaded on inclines: The charging bay is down a short External ramp and a longer Internal ramp to the upper floor and both will be used a number of times each day.

Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
