Description

The University of Sheffield is looking for a provider of support for students and relevant, appropriate communication with DDSS. Covering 4 key areas: 1. One-to-one Specialist Study Skills Support & Mentoring for students on the autism spectrum. 2. Organisation and facilitation of 'the autism social group' - an informal support group. 3. Production and submission of specific invoices and timesheets on a monthly basis. 4. Specific communications and related services to the university.

The Disability & Dyslexia Support Service (DDSS) is based within Student Support Services. DDSS offers a student-centred support approach, and achieves this through close liaison with other support services, academic departments and external agencies.

Currently the University has almost 5,000 students who have declared a disability, with over 3,000 actively supported by DDSS.
