Description
The purpose of the security provision for the ATS is to ensure that the service can run with the appropriate security detail. The security provision is required to ensure that the patients referred into the scheme can be seen for their medical needs within a GP practice albeit in a controlled fashion with security provision present. The provider will be required to escort the patient from the reception area within the practice to the consultation room, remain outside the door during the consultation unless instructed by the practice otherwise. Once the patient’s consultation is complete the security guards will then escort the patient out of the practice.NOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process.
