Description
The scope of the RFI is the British Library General Banking Services. This includes: â¢Payment accounts - Used for outgoing payments, for example, creditor cheques, CHAPS, BACS, direct debits, standing order payments, balance requests, commission charges and interest payable, etc. â¢Receipt accounts - Used for incoming transactions, for example, bank giro credits, standing orders, CHAPS, BACS, faster payments and unpaid direct debits and cheques, other amounts paid-in and income from card transactions, etc. â¢Other ancillary bank accounts - Used for other outgoing payments, for example, wage accounts from which staff salaries are paid by BACS, petty cash accounts and treasury deposit accounts â¢Foreign currency bank accounts - Used for payments and receipts in Euro and US$. â¢Cash banking facilities â¢Electronic banking facilities - Providing the following functions: oComprehensive real time balance and transaction data. oElectronic money transmission such as CHAPS. oReconciliation data on the accounts. â¢Financial Protection and Remedies â¢Integration with IT Systems â¢Account and Relationship Managers â¢Account Information, Guidance and Assistance â¢Cash Management and Credit Interest Arrangements â¢Payment of cheques drawn in foreign currency
