Description
The contract being tendered is for a provider to undertake Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards assessments on behalf of Ceredigion County Council. The provider will undertake the management, administration, assessments and quality assurance of assessments in line with The Mental Capacity Act 2005, SCHEDULE A1 and The Mental Capacity (Deprivation of Liberty: Assessments, Standard Authorisations and Disputes about Residence) (Wales) Regulations 2009; to the standards required for Ceredigion to meet its statutory duties under the Mental Capacity Act and all relevant related legislation, regulations, code of practice and guidance. The provider will be required to commence the service in April 2023.NOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process.
