Lincolnshire County Council has a statutory requirement to offer an Independent Visitor Service to Children in Care (CIC) i.e. the Service User.

The Independent Visitor shall maintain an independent relationship with their matched Service User in order to provide a consistent and mentoring figure in their life when there is no one in their family who is able to take on this role. Contact shall only be undertaken with the Service User's consent.
Service Users may reside throughout Lincolnshire. The Supplier shall provide county-wide Independent Visitor coverage as required.
