Description
This contract is for the Winter Weather Bureau Services, Weather Station Upgrades and Maintenance across the East Riding of Yorkshire. As the ERYC has a statutory responsibility to maintain the highway in a safe condition, ERYC relies on its weather station network for their winter operations. There is a mix of technologies in the network which require an Economic Operator who has the proven technical capability to process and display data from all of weather station types. The Economic Operator must therefore demonstrate that they have experience and competence in collecting and processing data from RoSA, RWS200 and non-invasive stations. These are all working on specific message formats using a combination of dedicated internet communications and dial-up processes to ensure reliable and efficient transfer of data/images.
