Description
New College Lanarkshire and South Lanarkshire College require provision of Taxi Services across the Lanarkshire area and intend to form a framework agreement to cover the needs. This will include Planned Hires and Ad-hoc transportation of vulnerable students and business-related staff. Contractors interested in participating in the opportunity should be able to demonstrate at least the following (non-exhaustive list): Have capacity to deliver a prompt and efficient service to all the Colleges participating in this tender, with sufficient resource and processes in place to handle multiple bookings at any one time, in particular term-time peak periods. Commitment to safety, including a strong health and safety record, robust safeguarding practices, and compliance with all relevant transport regulations. Environmental awareness, with efforts to reduce emissions and adopt sustainable transport practices where possible. Appropriate insurance cover, including public liability and employer’s liability aligned with the scale and nature of operations.
