Description
The London borough of Hillingdon (LBH) is looking for a piece of research/ case study about the experience of its Gypsy, Roma, Traveller (GRT) children. LBH are undertaking a focussed programme to improve the experience of GRT children and families in education.
LBH need to find out more about the experiences of Hillingdon GRT children through a piece of research that gives a personal and local picture that can be used to address barriers with schools, colleges, agencies in the council that work with GRT families, and with the families themselves. LBH see this personal piece of work as essential to set a baseline to inform our strategy for the future.
LBH are keen to hear from researchers who are interested in undertaking this work through the Council's competitive tendering process.
Duration of research will take place from award of contract (indicative start date from December), the research is expected to be completed and delivered by end of April 2022 or within 6 months
