Description
The Service will improve the educational outcomes, emotional well-being and personal development of children and young people aged 0-25 years through the application of psychology in providing assessments, advice, and recommendations. There will also be a requirement to allocate ten (10) days per annum for the Service to support the Council in various aspects of educational psychology work, such as support with dispute resolution, training, strategy, and practice supervision; this applies to both Council staff and external partners. The Service will meet the Council's statutory duty for children and young people aged 0-25 years in early years settings, schools, academies, post-16 provision, educated at home, and youth offending services in Calderdale, who are referred by the Special Educational Needs Team (SEN Team)
