Sheffield Crisis Café and Wellbeing Ambassadors
In developing the Crisis Café provision, NHS Sheffield Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG)is seeking to offer two contracts to an organisation, or organisations, that will ensure our population (age 16 plus) have an effective support option when they are in need of mental health support or having a mental health crisis.
It is key that the opening times of the provision correspond with peak demand for mental health support in the city and that appropriate, timely and compassionate support is made available to for our population to de-escalate crisis situations and improve people's wellbeing and life outcomes.
The tender process will start in December 2021.
In preparation we will be holding an open market engagement event to share more details about our plans, hear your views and answer any questions you may have.
The contract will be for a term of two years with the opportunity to extend for two years subject to mutual agreement between the successful Bidder and the CCG. The maximum term of contract is consequently four years. The financial envelope for the provision will be included in the final specification. Finance for year one is £200,000 for the Crisis Café and £15,000 for the Wellbeing Ambassadors, details of potential funding for subsequent years will be confirmed at the event
