Description
Tenders are invited for the supply of Paddling Pool operational services in respect of the seasonal Council owned paddling pools located at Skegness, Mablethorpe and Sutton on Sea as identified herein. This procedure is being conducted in accordance with the Council's Contract and Procurement Procedure Rules utilising the Invitation to Tender Procedure. The successful bidder will be responsible for providing the required services, liaising closely with the Customer's Contract Manager.
The Paddling Pools are seasonally open to the public from Spring Bank Holiday at the end of May through to the end of September. However, there is a requirement to commission prior to operation and decommission at the end of the season, i.e. initial filling, drain down, cleaning, minor maintenance etc.
The paddling pools are located at the three major coastal resorts with East Lindsey and consequently experience a significant increase in footfall during summer months. Their official opening hours to the public during the season are from 09:00hrs - 17:00hrs seven days per week Mon- Sun.
The locations of the paddling pool sites are listed below: ⢠Skegness - Fairy Dell Paddling Pool; ⢠Mablethorpe - Queens Park Paddling Pool; ⢠Sutton on Sea - Maple Leaf Paddling Pool.
The Contract will be let for a period of 2 years intended to commence on 24th May 2021.
