Description

Royal Leamington Spa is a beautiful town in the heart of England that has a made a long-standing commitment to delivering high quality illuminations throughout the seasonal period, which usually runs from the Sunday after Remembrance Sunday until 5th January.

The current Christmas lighting scheme has evolved over time and is currently delivered by three organisations working in partnership, with Warwick District Council (WDC) as the lead organisation primarily responsible for contractual management and oversight.

Warwick District Council (WDC) is committed to displaying Christmas lights in Leamington Spa during the seasonal period, usually from November until January. Therefore WDC, in conjunction with BID Leamington and Leamington Town Council will be issuing a tender this year to select a supplier to erect Christmas illuminations in the Leamington Spa town centre.

This tender is for the provision of seasonal illuminations throughout Leamington Spa town centre, including: providing and maintaining the illuminations; maintaining the associated infrastructure (including testing of catenary cables and hanging fittings, yearly anchor bolts testing); installation and testing of the illuminations; removal and storage of the illuminations.

The duration of this contract will be 4 years, with an option to extend for a further 12months, subject to funding confirmation and satisfactory performance in the initial term.
