Description
Tenders are invited from interested parties for the provision of Waste Management Services at Brunel University London in accordance with the Tender Specification provided within the draft ITT documentation.
Given the need to appoint a single provider to co-ordinate the delivery of the Waste Management Services, the Contract has not been divided into Lots. The Contract will run for a period of 5 years from 22nd February 2022 to 21st February 2027, with options to extend for two further periods up to two years. The decision of whether to take up the contract extension options is at the sole discretion of the University.
The main waste streams covered by the Contract and detailed within the Tender Specification, include: General Waste, Recycling, Glass, Cardboard, Food Waste, Printer/Toner Cartridges, Confidential Waste, Green Waste, Hazardous Waste, Clinical/Sharps, Hazardous Box Waste, WEEE (including Hazardous WEEE), Tube Lights, Engineering/Motor Oils, and Disposable Coffee Cup Recycling.
