Description

Market Engagement for the procurement of a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) for De Montfort University, Leicester, UK. De Montfort University (DMU) is seeking Market Engagement (ME) responses from suppliers who potentially would be interested in supplying a VLE solution to the University in the coming future. The ME process may also include the potential opportunity for presentations / demonstrations during end July / early August 2021.

DMU currently has a number of future options under consideration by way of the longterm route ahead in the area of future VLE provision to the University and which are all under consideration as part of a current wider VLE / Teaching and Learning (T&L) Applications Review; and which may include the undertaking of a full procurement for a future VLE solution provision. There are a number of variables influencing any future final decisions, dates and timelines; including any re-procurement which may be necessary and which is fully compliant in accordance with DMU Financial Regulations & Procurement Policy and any external Regulations and best practice applicable and currently in force at the time of undertaking any activity of a procurement related nature. Currently no firm decisions have been made by DMU and this market engagement process does not represent a call for competition or place any commitment on any party to any future tender process in this area of supply at this stage.
