Market Engagement Event for an End to End CHC Solution for Birmingham and Solihull CCG
Birmingham and Solihull CCG are holding a market engagement event for providers with sufficient experience assessing and reviewing the eligibility as part of an "End to End Continuing Health Care (CHC) and Children and Young People continuing care Solution".
The event will be held on 16th May 2019 between 1.30pm and 3.30pm. Full details of the venue are included via the Eventbrite booking system, details of which are included below.
The service will provide: a) assessment and review of adults who may be eligible for CHC, and with partner agencies the review of the care package b) assessment and review of Children and Young People who may be eligible for continuing care and, with partner agencies, the review of the care package c) assessment and review of individuals who may be entitled to ongoing NHS funding where core service provision cannot meet their on-going needs, and with partner agencies, the review of the care package d) the development of an offer of a personnel health budget and clinical approval of all support plans, with or without other partner agencies e) an element of case management of all the above
A draft service specification will be shared ahead of the event.
The event follows on from an event held in October 2018 and reflects changes to the specification since then including the removal of ABI pathway management, brokerage and commissioning of care, contract management and finance support from the specification.
We will look again to provide information on the service and seek feedback from the market regarding the service specification, including the opportunity for organisations to raise questions with Commissioners regarding how they envisage the service being shaped going forward. The event will also offer the opportunity for organisations to be briefed on the proposed procurement vehicle.
Interested parties are asked to register for places via Eventbrite via the following link: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/market-engagement-end-to-end-chc-solution-for-birmingham-and-solihull-ccg-tickets-61628826479.
