To identify the essential characteristics for a successful extended producer responsibility regime for electronic and electrical equipment (EEE) that reflects the Government's key priority of embracing the "polluter pay" principle whilst ensuring maximum environment benefits are achieved at proportionate cost to business and reflects the life cycle approach to resources and waste that is a feature of the forthcoming Resources and Waste Strategy
