Description

Re-evaluation of the match between DNA (NGS) and light nicroscopy data for benthic diatoms using improved DNA barcode reference database and new bioniformatic pipelines on an existing dataset, plus exploration of the potential for different approaches to the analysis of DNA data for the assessment of the wider phytobenthic community, using existing DNA data and associated environmental information, leading to recommendations for further work in this area.
