Description
The purpose of this Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to inform potential suppliers that the Authority is holding an early stage Industry day in respect of the future requirement to secure a 3 year support solution for the In-service Hazardous Environment Search Equipment (HESE) suite consisting of circa 25 separate items of equipment, all of which will be based across the UK and Northern Ireland.
The current In-Service HESE capability provides the equipment necessary for safe access to hazardous working environments, including confined spaces and in spaces where the supply of breathable air cannot be guaranteed. It is provided through numerous safety equipment that make up the HESE capability, which is required in support of both Military operations and Military Aid to the Civilian Powers (MACP).
