Description

Devon County Council has a requirement to replace existing brine saturators at two winter service depots in Tiverton and Newton Abbot. Each site has an existing single-phase electricity and water supply along with a reinforced concrete pad 3m x 3m for the saturator to be sited. The requirement is for the supply, installation* and commissioning of an automated brine making facility for each site. It is desirable that these units are available promptly and before for this coming winter maintenance season with both saturators fully installed and commissioned by 18th October 2019. Due to uncertainties over future winter service levels these units may need to be capable of being relocated or expanded to operate at a new location.

* DCC recognise that in respect of certain types of equipment a formal installation may not be required.
