The University of Sunderland is looking to engage with a one stop shop supplier for its healthcare consumable requirements. It is anticipated the single supplier contract will run from March 2023 to March 2026 with a possible 2 x yearly extensions taking it to March 2028.

Our courses include midwifery, paramedics, nursing, pharmaceutical and medical students who all require training in the use of healthcare consumables, and teaching assessments. We expect to order large volumes of consumables 3 times per year, however can make call off orders for 'just in time' deliveries for both new products and stock held for us by the successful supplier.

The contract is estimated at £180k per annum = £900k excluding VAT over the full 5 years' (note there is no guarantee of spend). We reserve the right to spend a further 100% of the anticipated budget, subject to changes to further requirements and future legislation over the lifetime of the contract.

Suppliers are required to provide quality products and knowledge, suitable stock, pricing consistency and reliability of the full end to end online ordering process.
