Description
The provision of extended external car parking areas and phased, internal/external re-planning and refurbishment of working ambulance stations.
Phase 1 for both stations will remodel and refurbish internal areas to provide Ambulance Vehicle Preparation (AVP) facilities. It will also include commencement (Leeds) and completion (Huddersfield) of additional external vehicle parking areas. This phase is critical and must be completed by 30th November 2018.
Phase 2 will provide new changing room facilities, a new training room and the refurbishment of remaining internal areas for Leeds. It will also include the completion of the additional external vehicle parking areas. For Huddersfield, phase 2 will include the installation of a new MOT Station as well as the refurbishment of internal areas. It will also include installation of replacement windows and repairs to existing parking areas.
Phase 3 for Huddersfield will include the installation of a new Fuel Tank, refurbishment of internal areas and repairs to existing parking areas. For Leeds, there is likely to be additional scope yet to be finalised (possible repairs to existing parking areas, replacement windows and electrical work).
Throughout all phases at both stations, roof repairs will be undertaken.
