The initial requirement is being 75% funded (£300k) by The Office for Low Emission Vehicles Residential On-Street chargepoints for plug in vehicles scheme. The remaining 25% will be funded (£100k) by Coventry City Council. There is no requirement on the supplier to fund the cost of the chargepoints or any works required to prepare the locations for the chargepoints installation. The works shall be completed by the Council outside of the contract.
The awarded supplier will be required to cover the cost of ongoing maintenance, repair, warranty management and provision of a back office function for the charging points installed.
