Description

Ofcom publishes its annual ICMR in the first week of December each year. The 2016 report is available here: https://www.ofcom.org.uk/research-and-data/cmr/cmr16/international

The requirement is for delivery of a survey of data from a variety of sources, across all communications sectors, including quantitative consumer research from a range of countries including European countries, the USA and Australia, as research for and for reference in Ofcom's International Communications Market Report (ICMR). Output should be supplied in two forms, one in an Excel-based format according to the Ofcom designed template, and the second in an Excel spreadsheet according to the successful tenderers design.

As a minimum, the service must deliver the following: • Provide datasets as detailed within the ITT for the countries listed, for the 2017 and 2018 (and 2019 if Ofcom choose to extended the Contract to 3 years) ICMR reports. Backdated data to 2011 must also be provided. • Provide a source for all the datasets provided. • Supply all data by 1 September each year for 2017, 2018 according to the 2 year agreement (and 2019 if Ofcom choose to extended the Contract to 3 years). • Supply all data in spreadsheets using the same Ofcom provided template each year for each country. • Clear all data for use in our publications. • Support Ofcom as it analyses the data and prepares its report over the period September to November in 2017 and 2018, as well as 2019 if the contract is extended to the full 3 year term.
