The current MS Access database acts as a repository for data received on Excel spreadsheets and have some inbuilt reports for routine analyses undertaken by the group. The data is currently received in monthly batches from 12 different sources. The spreadsheets are adapted and data cleaned before upload to the database. Further QA of the uploaded data is then undertaken within the database before a series of routine and bespoke reports are run on the data which is exported to Excel for formatting for presentation in PHE and other national publications. 1. Streamline existing reports and add new reports (queries) with addition of graphic representations of results 5. Allow multiple levels of users and allow the department to assign user privileges 6. Send automatic notification of concurrent use to users' 7. Allow users to create a secure user ID that allows internal users to securely access (browser based) system to view data and reports and provide an audit trail. 8. Allow the department to interrogate data held within the system on an ad hoc basis 9. Import and store legacy data from existing MS Access system
