Description
The proposed works will comprise of civil maintenance repair works and the application of decorative / protective coatings to the external / internal elevations of the lighthouse tower, roof repairs, removal of existing redundant water tank at Esha Ness Lighthouse.
More specifically, the main items of work are as follows:
â¢Establish welfare facilities. â¢Set up site. â¢Carry out render repairs â¢Carry out roof repairs â¢Remove existing balcony handrail, and replace with new one. â¢Power-wash all external surfaces to tower and welfare building. â¢Carry out minor civil maintenance repair works. â¢Replace any damaged rainwater goods and SVP â¢Prepare and redecorate externally. â¢Prepare and redecorate internally. â¢Removal of redundant water tank. â¢Demolition of existing store under water tank. â¢Demolition of entrance porch to tower. â¢Provision of additional storm doors to tower. â¢Relocate ariels from porch to tower. â¢Fit NLB supplied information panel â¢Clear site.

NB: All works are subject to NLB being granted all necessary listed building consent.
