Description

NKDC has obtained outline planning for a development of 42 houses in Waddington, to be built on land which transferred to Council ownership in March 2017. The properties will be a mix of housing for private sale (28 no.) and housing for social rent (14 no.). It is important that the council achieve a standard for private sale houses in order to secure an effective return on investment. The houses for social rent must meet the council's Fabric First + standard. Outline planning documents can be seen at: http://planningonline.n-kesteven.gov.uk/online-applications/applicationDetails.do?activeTab=summary&keyVal=OAD0BVLLG6E00.

NKDC requires an appropriately experienced contractor to take the project from full planning consent, through to practical completion, and provide a range of marketing/sales services in order to dispose of the private sale units. NKDC is considering how it may approach the project, and is seeking early information from the market through the publication of this PIN.

NKDC is inviting expressions of interest from interested parties with the capability for the works scope, and will be holding a supplier engagement day on 12 April from 10.00hrs until 13.00hrs, at the Cygnet Suite, Whisby Nature Park, Moor Lane, Thorpe-on-the-Hill, Lincoln, LN6 9BW NKDC will conduct this supplier engagement day in a transparent manner, and the participation or non-participation in the event will not disadvantage or affect any supplier's ability to participate in the future procurement process. Suppliers wishing to participate in the market engagement via the Supplier Engagement Day are invited to register their interest via email to [email protected], quoting Waddington New Build, by Wednesday 5 April at 12 noon.
