Description
The purpose of this Market Engagement opportunity is to support NHS Bolton Clinical Commissioning Group (the CCG), in seeking information from Providers which will be used to help determine the commissioning approach for The Provision of a Primary Care Locality Service for the population of Bolton. It is the intention in the design of the service to commission a Primary Care Locality Service. Supporting information can be located within the Market Engagement Questionnaire (MEQ) and the draft Service Specification available for download on the EU-Supply portal. The MEQ responses will help the CCG to further refine the draft Service Specification and to determine the most appropriate route to contract award, as well as inform the potential benefits of competition to improve services with regards to meeting the needs of service users, improving quality, value for money and better integration without destabilising service provision. Completed questionnaires should be uploaded onto the EU-Supply Portal via the message page by 12 Noon on Monday 4th September 2017. For the purpose of this Market Engagement exercise, the indicative Affordability Threshold is estimated to be £4,000,000.00 per annum, pending further confirmation of national funding. It is envisaged that the Contract will be for a duration of 5 years with the option to extend for up to a further 2 years with the commencement date of 1st April 2018. This Market Engagement opportunity has also been advertised in OJEU. To register on EU Supply and download the Market Engagement Questionnaire and view the draft Service Specification please log on to the following website: https://nhssbs.eu-supply.com and look for tender reference number 28444. Any MEQ responses will not be treated as commercially confidential and may be used by the CCG in the final Service Specification used for the contract but no organisation will be individually identified. The CCG would also like to invite all interested organisations to a Market Engagement Event. The purpose of the event will be for the CCG to explain its vision, ambition, commissioning intentions, delivery and commercial model, in order to seek the views and opinions of those organisations that may be interest in helping to deliver the service. There will also be an opportunity for Providers to ask any questions they may have and an opportunity to meet other Providers. The event will be held at 1pm on Tuesday, 12th September, 2017 in Bolton. If you would like to attend this event, please send your RSVP via EU-Supply confirming names, titles and contact details of those wishing to attend.
