Description

The purpose of this commission is to identify a viable and deliverable masterplan for the 'Masterplan Area' together with a viability assessment and delivery Plan. The Client Team have the following objectives for this project: 1. secure the physical regeneration of CSQ South, maximizing opportunities to create a high-quality mix of housing, leisure and other uses, along the canal corridor including consideration of community facilities; 2. create a strong sense of place and focus, bringing life and vitality to CSQ South and its waterfront; 3. support the parties' aspiration for CSQ South to become a unique selling point and attractive destination for Wolverhampton. 4. conserve, enhance and promote the unique heritage environment of the canal subject to market considerations and viability 5. promote character and listed buildings within CSQ South and the surrounding area.
