Description
Manchester Health and Care Commissioning (MHCC) and NHS England: Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership (GMH&SCP) are currently reviewing the GP and walk-in services for Hawthorn Medical Centre and City Health Centre.
The commissioners are proposing to commission an Alternative Provider Medical Services (APMS) contract to deliver essential, additional and enhanced services to registered patients and a NHS Standard Contract to deliver walk-in centre services. MHCC have made a decision to re-procure the following existing contracts, with an expectation that they will be delivered from their current premises. The provider will be expected to deliver both services for each of the following sites which will be offered in 2 Lots:
⢠Hawthorn Medical Centre, Manchester, M14 6FS Registered* - 5124 raw/4674.27 weighted. Unregistered 15849 ⢠City Health Centre, Manchester, M1 1PL Registered* - 11051 raw/11697.39 weighted. Unregistered 41107
*Correct at 1.10.17
The service specifications for the both registered and walk-in- centre services will be aligned to the strategic direction for Primary Care in Manchester. It is essential that any potential provider can deliver all elements of our Primary Care Transformation agenda, which includes a full population offer approach to integrated care delivered through place based neighbourhood arrangements and working with and through Manchester's Local Care Organisation (LCO).
North of England Commissioning Support is managing this process for and on behalf of GMH&SCP and MHCC.
