Description

UCL Partners Procurement Service, on behalf of Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, wishes to procure a MRI scan service for patients over the age of 18 years. Estimated volumes are approximately 750 patients per annum, although this may be subject to change if demand increases. Contract length will be for a period of 3 years with the possibility of 2 x 12 month extension periods. The go-live date will be 01/04/2017. All scans must be performed within the NHS Diagnostic Target (Urgent scans within 2 weeks, Semi-Urgent scans 2 - 4 weeks and Routine scans 4 - 6 weeks) using a 1.5T or 3T scanner (not an open scanner) Scans required will include MRI High Resolution Head and Orbits scans, MRA, MRV with some Pituitary imaging and occasional Whole Spine and Chest with and without Gadolinium. No radiologist report will be required, as this is done in-house. A secure method of transferring the scans to MEH must be offered.
