Description
DPS will provide the support offerings that enable HMRC to become a data-driven and insight-led organisation, drive data innovation and drive adoption of emerging technologies like AI and ML. The Products and Tools aligned to the Reporting & Dashboarding have been grouped by function and technology type. Based upon this criteria, the following groups are Strategic Data Visualisation, Software Development and Collaboration and Strategic Reporting. Each of these procurements is presented under a separate CCR. The approach also provides the potential for multiple Suppliers to be engaged under each procurement, bringing their own expertise and providing HMRC with alternative views and innovative solutions.
Calling off from the RM6195 framework, Big Data and Analytics, Design, build, test and run products for Reporting & Dashboarding including: â¢Operating existing reporting and dashboarding products and newly built solutions â¢Administration, configuration, upgrade, management of reporting platforms and services â¢Service and product monitoring and alerting â¢Resolution of incidents and problems â¢Operations and capacity/performance management â¢Design, delivery and change management of new reporting and dashboarding solutions using approved 3rd party tools including cloud native products â¢Building new semantic layers, including cubes and universes, developing bespoke reporting solutions â¢Continuous Service Improvement â¢Provide data presentation and visualisation subject matter expertise â¢Delivering services utilising approved and roadmap technologies and environments These services are grouped under Software Development and Collaboration with a focus upon the following products:-
- Jira - Project management and work item tracking software - Confluence - Collaboration tool for sharing content The supplier will be required to co-locate with the existing platform teams, mixed teams comprising both internal staff and other contractors, 5 days per week. Travel will be required to other HMRC Delivery Centres.
