Description
Liverpool City Council intend to establish a Flexible Purchasing System (FPS) for the provision of services and / or the hire of Equipment for Events ("Event Support Services") that are organised by Liverpool City Council ("the Council"). Due to the nature of these services, this procurement will fall under the Light-Touch Regime but will be conducted broadly based on the general principles of an DPS. This FPS will remain open during the maximum 4 year period; this means that, following the initial assessment and establishment of the FPS organisations can apply to be added to the FPS at any point in time. Although organisations may apply at any time, the Applications they submit will only be assessed and added to the FPS at four periods during each year. This FPS will also be available to use for Liverpool City Council's neighbouring authorties; Wirral Council, Sefton Council, Halton Council, Knowsley Council and St.Helens Council. The Council are inviting Events Services Providers to join a FPS. The aim is to establish formal links with providers with the capacity, capability and proven track record to deliver a range of Events Services. The services will be split into 12 Lots as follows :
