Description
Ryedale District is in North Yorkshire and is a rural authority serving approximately 53,000 people. It includes the market towns of Malton, Norton Kirkbymoorside, Pickering and Helmsley and surrounding areas.
Ryedale District Council (the Council) is based at Ryedale House in Malton and is responsible for a number of key services to the community. Further information can be found on the Council's website www.ryedale.gov.uk .
One of the Council's priorities is :
"Supporting Communities to identify their needs, plan and develop local solutions and resilience."
In order to do this we have worked with our communities and voluntary sector infrastructure partners over many years to support the voluntary and community groups in Ryedale. The Council operates a range of grant schemes -https://www.ryedale.gov.uk/services/community-living/community-grants.html - and has invested in parish planning and community support work. The Council now wishes to invite quotes for the delivery of a programme of support to the voluntary and community sector in Ryedale in the form of a grant, for the period April 2020 to March 2023. A maximum budget of up to £13,000 p.a in total is available. As this is a grant, the supplier (or lead supplier) must be a not for private profit organisation in order to be eligible for grant funding. An allowance for inflation (cpi) will be made in years 2 and 3.
