Description

The works to be carried out are the refurbishment and upgrading of the Sterile Services Department including new mechanical ventilation system and AHU installation. Fire stopping of the SSD is also to be carried out. The project is to be tendered as two distinct phases which are carefully detailed, but briefly comprise of a phase one to include the install (largely externally) as far as practicable up to the point when nothing further can be completed until the SSD working operations have to cease for a period. Phase two will be a suspension of the SSD operations to allow the internal works to progress and completion of all testing and commissioning. Phase two will be very time sensitive and must be completed within the allotted timescale so SSD operations can continue as normal.
