Accommodation Assessment update
The purpose is to ensure that the Council are provided with an up-to-date understanding of the likely permanent and transit accommodation needs of Gypsies, Travellers and Travelling Showpeople within the area, together with robust evidence relating to the extent to which existing sites meet these needs. In particular, the Assessment is looking to:
⢠Inform the development of future pitches across the Borough; ⢠Provide information on Gypsy, Traveller and Travelling Showpeople's accommodation needs - both temporary and permanent (including 'bricks and mortar' accommodation); and ⢠Gain a better understanding of the pattern of movements and encampments in the Council's administrative area.

CSW-JETS is a sub-regional e-tendering portal run by In-tend.
