Description

The consolidated search will need to retrieve data from RMG's collections and archive database (Mimsy), library database (Symphony), as well as RMG's library and archive bookings system (Aeon). The aim is to provide a single point of reference for all researchers.

Work on the Collections Online website and Consolidated Search will run concurrently. In order to achieve this, we require the Consolidated Search suppliers to: •Agree on interface (March) •Deliver a beta version to support the development of the website (end of April) •Be available during the development stage to advise on and adapt the search functionality (May/June) •Delivery final version (June)

Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.

Please email Laura McAllister if you wish to express and interest in this project. Relevant 'Request for Quotation' documentation will then be provided.
