Description

Annual Lift Servicing to a number of properties in Herts, Beds and Bucks. A thorough examination is a systematic and detailed inspection of the Lift System and all its associated equipment by a competent person, its aim to detect any defects which are, or might become, dangerous and may affect the smooth operation of the system and for the competent person to report any defects to the duty holder and if appropriate, the enforcing authority (the health and safety executive or local authority) so that appropriate remedial action can be taken.

To determine the extent of the thorough inspection, the competent person will access the risks, considering factors such as where the Lift is being used, frequency of use, age and condition of the system etc. The inspection will include some testing taking guidance from the manufacturer's guidelines and standards
