The contract will cover the Authorities stock of approximately ( and subject to change) 8894 homes and include the annual gas safety checks of domestic properties, breakdown repairs to heating / hot water systems and the installation of new central heating boilers / systems. The contract will be split into two Lots: Lot 1 - Welwyn Garden City Area, Comprising: Response repairs - approximately 5065 Dwellings • Response repairs including out of hours service to provide 24 hour cover. • Gas safety inspections and servicing of all dwellings for which Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council are the landlord. • Void works (Including Gas safety checks at initial cap off and then uncap and recommission). • Planned Works from raised works orders • Reactive Planned work (Works that would normally be of a 'planned' size or nature but require completing responsively at short notice outside of any planned maintenance contract).

Lot 2 - Hatfield and Villages Area, Comprising Response repairs - approximately 3829 Dwellings • Response repairs including out of ours service to provide 24 hour cover. Bidders may apply for one of both Lots but will only eligible to be awarded one Lot. In the event of over running work there will be the opportunity to move work from one Lot to the other.
