Brief Description of Requirement

The Industrial Strategy white paper highlighted that the Department of Business Energy and Industrial Strategy would establish a new Future Sectors team that will lead work to grow the sectors that are developing and using the technologies and business models of the future, such as robotics and AI. This team will lead 4 reviews a year, with an evidence based pipeline of work subject to consultation with the PM's Council on Science and Technology. We require a suitable source of evidence that will allow us to inform these reviews with analysis. We also wish to have access to more evidence on general trends in the technology sector. This includes individual technologies (or associated tech clusters) such as robotics, drones, or blockchain, or application sectors such as Fin-tech, Ed-tech or Agri-tech where firms are developing technology based innovations for existing sectors. We are interested to better understand the underlying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats our priority emerging sectors are subject to and ensure our policy response is properly targeted on areas where government can add the most value

Please ensure you review all attached information to ensure a full understanding of this requirement. All attachments can be found with the RFx attachments tab within the Emptoris System.

This contract will be awarded based on the evaluation criteria set out in the ITQ document.
