Description
The Employer wishes to enter into a contract for the design, construction and completion of the redevelopment of two existing garage sites to provide 10 affordable houses at two different locations within the city of Cambridge: ⢠Cameron Road/ Nuns Way and ⢠Wiles Close. The Employer requires the provision of the following: ⢠Development and submission of all the necessary surveys and reports, as they are described in the conditions of the planning permission documents; ⢠Asbestos & demolition survey; ⢠Demolition of the existing garages and site clearance; ⢠Redevelopment of two separate sites within the north of Cambridge and construction of a total of 10 new affordable units for rent as follows: ⢠six 2-bed and one 3-bed houses at the sites located at Cameron Road/ Nuns Way ⢠three 2-bed houses at the site located at Wiles Close ⢠Construction of associated rear gardens and parking spaces for each house; ⢠Construction of two new public parking courts, one at Cameron Rd/Nuns Way and another one at Wiles Close. ⢠Making good of the public areas around the sites that will be affected by the works.
