Description

This is not a call for Competition.

This is an Advert for Soft Market Testing to gauge market interest which will influence future Commissioning and Procurement Direction.

NHS Midlands and Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit (MLCSU) on behalf of the commissioners, Shropshire CCG and Telford and Wrekin CCG - is seeking to engage with potential Providers for the Provision of Neurology Services.

Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin CCGs wish to commission both acute and community neurology services for our registered patients. The service(s) will aim to provide a highquality service for patients who are registered with Shropshire CCG and Telford & Wrekin CCG GP Practices. The service(s) will be based on best practice and will provide appropriate outpatients appointments, access to diagnostics, diagnosis, care planning, inpatient provision, community service(s), follow up treatment, review and discharge.

The service provider(s) will be required to work collaboratively with existing providers as part of an integrated, evidence based approach to patient care. The model could be delivered by a single provider, or multiple providers. Delivery models will be presented and then evaluated by the CCGs during the procurement process.

The aim of the event will be to engage with potential providers for these services in order to share the commissioning intentions of the CCG, and to seek the input from providers on a number important aspects relating to the services, including the service specification.

At the event there will be an opportunity for providers to network with other providers and commissioners.

The CCG would like to assess the current market appetite to provide this service and identify any barriers to successful implementation. The outcomes of the event will then determine next steps.

The event will be held on: Monday 17th September 2018 At: 10:00 am to 12:30 (Registration 9:45am) Location: NHS Telford and Wrekin CCG, Halesfield 6, Halesfield, Telford, TF7 4BF

Please note no more than 2 attendees per organisation should attend.

Closing date for registration is Wednesday 12th September 2018 by 12:00 (noon).

Please note that after this deadline participation cannot be guaranteed.

The CCG's would welcome the attendance of any current providers of Neurology Services, any providers who may be interested in providing these services in the future and/or other stakeholders.
