Description
For the eight sites for which it has responsibility, St Ives Town Council would be interested in receiving quotes as follows: To take up and remove the existing wet pour, making good the sub-base and relaying new wet pour. Where needed, to supply and fit new concrete edging to replace the existing timber edging. Any litter bins are to be lifted, not set in the wet pour. The current wet pour is 40mm, but we need to ensure compliance with legislation e.g. CFH. Please therefore provide quotes for 40mm and 60mm. Advice on this is welcomed. The wet pour can be black or green, whichever is the cheaper. Please provide a separate quote for each site: Russet Close: 8 x 9m Burleigh Hill: 32 x 18m Wheatfield: 15 x 13m and 15 x 6m Thorndown: 27 x 16m Beech Drive: 12 x 20m The Crescent: 11 x 9m Slepe Hall: 15 x 28m Warners Park: 10 x 30m
To arrange a site visit accompanied by a member of our grounds team, please e-mail [email protected] tel:01480 388928. We would also welcome notification of any locations in our vicinity where you have laid wet pour that we can visit, ideally where it is around three years to gauge wear. Finally, we are aware that technology is continually advancing, so would also welcome any additional quote you can provide for anything that may be more ecologically sound or improved. Please submit tenders by e-mail and hard copy, marked 'wet pour tender' for the attention of Christine Allison, Amenities Manager, St Ives Town Hall, Market Hill, The Old Riverport, St Ives, Cambs PE27 5AL.
