Description
Strategic Heat Opportunities Study The Strategic Heat Opportunities Study aims to review Cornwallâs low carbon heat resource potential in order to identify where heat networks can be deployed as a means of:
⢠Supporting effective exploitation of Cornwallâs renewable and secondary heat resource potential; ⢠Promoting low carbon economic growth; ⢠Reducing both the costs and carbon emissions associated with Cornwallâs heat demand; ⢠Forming a key component of our strategic approach to combatting fuel poverty; ⢠Helping to realise the C&IoS Local Enterprise Partnershipâs ambition for the region to develop leadership in the âgreen and marineâ economy.
As well as providing supporting evidence for Cornwall Councilâs Case for Cornwall (C4C) devolution ask for powers to establish âLow Carbon Heat Enterprise Zonesâ covering new commercial developments where heat networks are deployed
