This Contracts Finder Notice is supporting the following Prior Information Notice (PIN) ref: 2018/S 017-034840

Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham (QEHB), which is run by University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust (UHB), is recognised as one of the leading hospitals in Europe and has an international reputation for quality of care, informatics/IT, clinical training and research.

Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust (HEFT) includes Birmingham Heartlands Hospital, Solihull Hospital and Community Services, Good Hope Hospital in Sutton Coldfield and Birmingham Chest Clinic. The Trusts provide direct clinical services to over 2 million population yearly and employ around 20,000 members of staff.

The required services are essential for the provision of a diagnostic imaging service and Breast Screening service. The PACS application is used extensively by all clinical staff. The RIS service is predominantly used by the staff within the Imaging Department to manage the acquisition of diagnostic imaging and communication of results. The VNA service provides back end storage for PACS.

UHB is reprocuring for services to replace existing contracts ending November 2018 for VNA, February 2019 for PACS and May 2019 for RIS.
