Description

The Wordsworth Trust is looking to appoint a Project Manager to work with the client(the Trust), its project team and other stakeholders to manage the project Reimagining Wordsworth, through RIBA Stage 4 to RIBA Stage 7. In March 2018, the Heritage Lottery Fund awarded the Wordsworth Trust a grant of GBP4.1 million for the delivery phase of Reimagining Wordsworth. The grant puts the Wordsworth Trust on course to make profound and exciting changes to its site and activities in time to celebrate the 250th anniversary of Wordsworth's birth in 2020. The scope of Reimagining Wordsworth will include: > Refurbishment and extension of the existing museum building including fit out. > Refurbishment and remodelling of the existing shop to convert it into a cafe. > Refurbishment of the existing cafe building to convert it into a learning space. > Remodelling of the current education room into a staff facility. > External work within the existing landscape. > Repair and maintenance of Dove Cottage (grade 1 listed) with revised fit out. The Trust is looking for a Project Manager who must demonstrate understanding of the special nature of this project and has significant experience of working on heritage properties and museum developments. See Project Manager brief for specific criteria.
