Description

WYCC values the relationship and support for collaborative working, and wants to invite applications from organisations that are committed to working in partnership to deliver quality training which meets the Leeds City Region skills agenda.

To meet the aim of building and strengthening a skilled workforce, WYCC is seeking skilled Delivery Partners to train employees to enhance leadership in small and medium-sized enterprise (SMEs) in the Leeds City Region.

This commission has been developed by collaborating with employers, industry and education. It has also been influenced by, and responds to, national, regional and local skills challenges, strategies and intelligence. This has shaped a commission which seeks to develop a leadership and mental strength Conversion Skills training programme.

The aims of this training are to:

o Increase the skills levels (through training) of employed individuals from the existing level to the next level up, to encourage progression in employment;

o Increase the volumes of individuals in higher level occupations across the sectors;

o Increase the supply of highly capable and suitably skilled individuals with the appropriate leadership, project management and mental strength skills to help bolster the regional and UK employment market;

o Help individuals transition into management roles and encourage more individuals from underrepresented demographics into middle and higher level management roles; and

o Giving individuals confidence, competence and qualifications to optimise business and individual performance.
