Description
As part of its City Centre development and ahead of its status as UK City of Culture 2021, Coventry City Council plans to demolish the following building:
Coventry Point CV1 1EA
At this stage, the Council envisages that there may be two packages of work:
1) asbestos removal and soft strip 2) building demolition.
We are keen to undertake a pre-procurement exercise to understand the markets view of how we proceed with this given the location of the building and specific project constraints. Therefore following the publication of a Prior Information Notice (PIN) to OJEU, we attach a questionnaire to this project for your response. This questionnaire in no way forms part of the evaluation of any future tender but will help Coventry City Council finalise the best route to market for undertaking these works.
Please respond via the correspondence function no later than 09:30am on Monday 2nd July 2018.
Additional information: Please register via the Council`s e-procurement system - CSW-JETS http://www.csw-jets.co.uk/
CSW-JETS is a sub-regional e-tendering portal run by In-tend. Since February 2010, Coventry; Solihull; Warwickshire; Nuneaton and Bedworth; Rugby alongside other local district Councils have been working together as a shared procurement service. In conjunction with Solihull Community Housing, we have joined together to bring you a collaborative E-Tendering portal.
CSW-JETS enables us to advertise our opportunities across all authorities through the same system. This means that there is a single point of contact for procurement in the sub-region so you only have to register once to receive notifications for all authorities. Registering on the portal will make it easier for local suppliers to find, respond to and be alerted to tender opportunities.
Registration is free, and takes just a few minutes. When complete, you will be able to express interest in any of the Councils'/Authorities' opportunities when they are made available including this tender. In addition, we will be able to access your details whenever we have a requirement, and you may then be invited to tender or quote for work.
Once you are registered and log in to the system you will be able to locate the tender opportunity, express interest and access the documentation.
Delivery Notes
At this stage, the Council has released a PIN to OJEU and is wishing to engage with the market via a questionnaire to finalise its view on route to market / undertaking of the works.
Please express an interest via www.csw-jets.co.uk to access the questionnaire and give us your views.
All submissions must be made via www.csw-jets.co.uk.
